Quick and Easy Smores for a Crowd!
Sometimes the best part of making s’mores is the experience, but it’s hard to make them in bulk for a crowd and keep them warm when you’re heating up one at a time. Today I want to share with you a quick and easy way to make smores for a crowd! This is a great way to make smores this winter without an open fire! They’re easy to share at a large Christmas party. This is a great way to make s’mores for kids that aren’t quite old enough to be trusted around a fire.
We wanted to make smores for a Young Life club and there was no way to have a fire to make them there so I figured out a way to make them ahead of time and transport them. I made 60 smores in less than 30 minutes and kept them hot for a full hour!
Here’s how you do it – it’s so crazy simple I can’t believe I’m typing it out!
You’ll need the typical s’mores ingredients:
- Marshmallows (these square ones might make it easier if you can find them!)
- Graham Crackers
- Chocolate
- (optional) any other secret ingredient you feel would take these to the next level! Maybe Nutella…Reese’s…options are endless!
Assemble one smore at a time and wrap individually in foil – be sure the foil doesn’t tear. (I like foil squares if you’re doing a lot to save you some sanity – I’ve found them at Sam’s Club or Costco)
Line up on a sheet pan (I could fit 24 on a half sheet pan). And bake for 10 minutes at 350.
Store in an insulated cooler to keep them hot – mine stayed warm for a full hour before we ate them!
Serve them warm and receive all the compliments!
I’ve included all Target links for ingredients in case you are a drive up order aficionado such as myself! 🙂
