Dairy Free Halloween Treats
My sweet baby Archer doesn’t handle dairy well so I’ve cut it out of my diet for now. At this point I feel like I should win a medal for not eating cheese, seriously!!
So now wherever I go, I’m on the hunt for dairy free products. Naturally, Halloween and all it’s sweet goodness are a big priority for me and my sweet tooth! So I thought I’d compile a list of safe candies and quick recipes to make to celebrate this day of sweets.
Keep your eyes peeled for these popular candies that are dairy free (basic rule of thumb, if it’s fruity and chewy, you’re probably good to go! 😉
- Airheads
- Blow Pops
- Candy Corn
- Jolly Ranchers
- Justin’s Dark Chocolate Peanut butter cups
- Nerds
- Skittles
- Pixy Stix
- Sour Patch Kids & Watermelon
- Smarties
- Swedish Fish
- SweeTARTS
- Twizzlers
- Starburst
- Oreos
Unfortunately, most chocolate is out unless it’s fancy and organic or very dark chocolate.
If you aren’t going trick or treating or don’t have anyone kind enough to share candy with you, here are some dairy free sweet treats you can make at home!
Rice Crispy Treats (substitute ghee or coconut oil for butter!)
S’Mores (just be sure to use dark chocolate or chocolate chips that are dairy free)
What’s your favorite halloween candy??
